In the College of Health Professions, we educate health professionals in a variety of fields who go on to provide exceptional care and improve the health of those they serve, wherever they are.
Our mission is to prepare exceptional healthcare professionals for interprofessional leadership, research and evidence-based practice through student-centered programs that offer cutting-edge curricula.
Our vision is to advance optimal health for all through our commitment to health equity, community engagement, wellness, and discovery.
The College of Health Professions promotes health equity in a variety of ways, from maintaining population health and lifestyle medicine programs that tackle systemic issues directly to proactively working to increase the number of applications from traditionally underrepresented groups.
Students in the College of Health Professions have many opportunities to learn with each other, develop leadership skills, and serve the local community. These opportunities include the Interprofessional Community Clinic, health fairs, balance and falls programming, and more.
In addition to a focus on promoting wellness for those we serve, we also recognize the importance of wellness for our students, faculty and staff. This includes intentional development of community and belonging within each program. Our goal is to prepare a resilient workforce for the future.
The College of Health Professions faculty and students are actively engaged in research and evidence-based practice. As a student in the College of Health Professions you will have opportunities to engage in research with faculty, attend and present at conferences, and perhaps even publish your work.
