Lori Anderson, DNP, CRNA, APRN

Chair, Program Director

Dr. Lori R. Anderson has been a CRNA since 1997. She received her MSN-Nurse Anesthesia from Rush University/Chicago, her MSN/BSN from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice-Systems Leadership from Rush University/Chicago. Dr. Anderson has provided numerous professional presentations and been published in the Journal of Nursing Administration and JBI Evidence Synthesis journal. She is the recipient of the IL Nurses' Association Horizon Award in 2007 and the Agatha Hodgins CRNA Memorial Award as an Outstanding Graduate Nurse Anesthetist from Rush University in 1997. Dr. Anderson's service to the profession includes serving as: President of the Illinois Association of Nurse Anesthetists; the CRNA member of the Illinois Board of Nursing; and a member of the Board of Directors for the National Board for Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Dr. Anderson is an Associate Professor for the 无码群交, College of Health Professions, Department of Nurse Anesthesia, and has served as a faculty member in the Department since 2009.

Peter Kallio, DNP, CRNA, APNP

Associate Program Director聽

Dr. Peter Kallio has been a CRNA since 1989 He has been with the Rosalind franklin University school of Nurse Anesthesia since its inception as one of the first clinical site coordinators. He has been full time as the Associate Program Director since 2016. He continues to work clinically one day per week at the Zablocki VAMC in Milwaukee, where he has worked since 2004. He received his BSN from Marquette University; he graduated from the Milwaukee County School of Nurse Anesthesia in 1989, received his MSN from Samuel Merritt College in 2007, and received a DNP from Marquette University in 2013. He spent 10 years in the US Navy reserves as a CRNA. He was appointed and is currently the chair of the Wisconsin Board of Nursing. His work experience as a CRNA has included a level 1 trauma center, own LLC working for a private anesthesia group in a midsized community hospital, to presently employed at the Zablocki VAMC. He is currently the clinical director of the Pre-Anesthesia Clinic and is the Anesthesia Educator. He has published several research papers related to preoperative evaluation and is presently working on a telemedicine project.

Jennifer Greenwood, CRNA, PhD

Associate Professor, Associate Program Director, Associate Dean for Doctoral Research

Dr. Greenwood is an Associate Professor in the College of Health Professions, Department of Nurse Anesthesia, and serves as the Associate Program Director for Colorado Operations. Within the department is the course director for the translational research series and all of the doctoral project planning and implementation courses. As the Director for the RFUMS Center for Interprofessional Evidence Based Practice, a JBI Centre of Excellence, she has facilitated the growth of evidence synthesis and implementation science using the JBI model. Her research interests include scope of practice among advanced practice providers, substance use disorder among clinicians, and simulation validation for structured assessment. With over 18 years of experience as a CRNA, she continues her clinical practice at several facilities in IL and CO.

Michael Ledvina, DNAP, CRNA, APNP

Assistant Professor

Dr. Ledvina is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Nurse Anesthesia at 无码群交. Dr. Ledvina obtained his Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from RFU in 2010, and completed his Doctorate of Nursing Anesthesia Practice here in 2017. He has been affiliated with the RFU Department of Nurse Anesthesia program since 2012 as a guest lecturer, and currently is course director for both the Advanced Nurse Anesthesia Pharmacology and Clinical Correlation series. Dr. Ledvina currently works in a large, multi-specialty teaching hospital in Milwaukee as well as providing office-based anesthesia in the Milwaukee area. He has served on the Wisconsin Association of Nurse Anesthetist (WIANA) audit committee since 2015.

Franklin McShane, DNP, CRNA, APNP

Dr. Franklin McShane, III, is a CRNA and a DNP. He was awarded his Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2011 from the University of Minnesota, his MSN from the University of Texas/Houston in 1995, and his BSN from University of Massachusetts/Amherst in 1985. His extensive experience includes serving as both a Nurse Anesthetist and as a Program Director in various locations for the United States Army, as well as a Nurse Anesthetist in private practice. Dr. McShane was the Vice President for a private practice anesthesia group in Wisconsin, as well as President of the Wisconsin Associate of Nurse Anesthetists. Dr. McShane is the author of numerous articles in professional journals, and has been repeatedly invited as a presenter for the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. He served as a preceptor and Clinical Coordinator for Nurse Anesthesia Program students at Berlin Memorial Hospital in Berlin, Wisconsin. He now serves as the Director of Nursing Simulation and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nurse Anesthesia here at 无码群交.

Kristine Tierney, DNP, CRNA

Assistant Professor, Coordinator of Clinical Education

Dr. Tierney is a 无码群交 alumna and has been a CRNA since 2017. She entered the healthcare industry initially working as a firefighter and paramedic. She received her BSN from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL. Her nursing experience includes correctional, emergency, critical care transport, and finally intensive care at Loyola University Medical Center鈥檚 cardiovascular and thoracic ICU. As a CRNA she practices clinically at several facilities located in Indiana and Illinois. At Rosalind Franklin she serves as the Coordinator of Clinical Education and has been guest lecturing since 2018. Dr. Tierney lectures within several courses including principles of anesthesia, pathophysiology, and advanced anesthesia pharmacology. She holds a special interest in the areas of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and POCUS.

Pamela Chambers DNP, EJD, MSN, CRNA

Assistant Professor

Pamela Chambers has been a CRNA since 2000. She received her Masters degree in Nurse Anesthesia while on active duty in the US Army Nurse Corps. After leaving the military as a Major in the Army, she attended law school earning an executive Juris Doctorate degree with a concentration in Health Law. Dr. Chambers has been an expert consultant in Health Law, perioperative nursing and anesthesia matters since 2008. She has practiced anesthesia solo and in group practices nationwide and overseas both in the military and as a volunteer. Dr. Chambers brings her wealth of experience as a professional negligence expert consultant to her posts as course director for the Nurse Anesthesia quality and outcomes courses as well as the legal matters in professional practice courses. Dr. Chambers has served two terms on the Board of Directors of the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists. Additionally, she has served on professional practice panels contributing to the SEE exam, the NCE exam, national professional certification bodies, as well as public speaking and publications in matters of professional practice.

Daniel King, DNP, CRNA, CPPS, CNE

Associate Professor

Dr. King has been a CRNA since 2016. He holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa (2020), a Master of Nurse Anesthesia from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota (2016), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana (2010). Dr. King brings leadership experience to RFUMS as a prior Chief Nurse Anesthetist, Clinical Coordinator, Board Director, and Committee Chair within the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology and the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Dr. King has disseminated a multitude of scholarly works in the field of nurse anesthesiology. Among his primary research interests, Dr. King is internationally regarded as a subject matter expert in cannabis implications for perioperative and critically ill patients, as well as the social stigmatization of cannabis use in healthcare.
