Dr. Nathan Sandalow earned his doctorate in medicine at Northwestern University in 2010. He served as chief resident in emergency medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York where he introduced innovative approaches to medical education, creating a simulated ER designed to teach multitasking and handoff skills to emergency medicine residents.
Having joined the CMS faculty in 2014, Dr. Sandalow is an assistant professor of emergency medicine and third-year clerkship director. In that capacity he is responsible for guiding students through their first exposure to the unique environment and thought processes that characterize emergency medicine. He is a devoted teacher who loves discussing the subtleties of applying clinical research at the beside.
