Dr. Rami Haddad graduated from the University of Jordan Faculty of Medicine and completed his internship at the Department of Health’s Medical Center in Amman, Jordan. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center in Saint Louis, Missouri and is a Diplomat in Internal Medicine. He also completed his Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center and is ABIM Subspecialty Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine.
In 2005, Dr. Haddad completed his Fellowship in Hematology, Medical Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center and Saint Louis University Cancer Center. He is ABIM Board Certified and a diplomat in Medical Oncology and Hematology. He formerly served as Chief of Hematology and Oncology at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center.
Dr. Haddad holds many professional memberships, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the European Society of Medical Oncology. In 2010 he was selected as one of Top Oncologists by the Consumer’s Research Council of America and a Fellow of The American College of Physician. He was also nominated by the International Association of Oncologists as one of the Top International Oncologists in 2012.
Dr. Haddad has authored multiple publications and is actively involved in a number of ongoing research activities including lung cancer and chronic leukemia. During his tenure at the FHCC, he was awarded the Veterans Administration Certificate of Excellence in Research.
