Dr. Rene Roberts is an energetic and compassionate physician who strives to help patients live life abundantly. She grew up outside of Denver, Colorado where she was a former competitive figure skater. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder, she later moved to the Midwest where she received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, IL. She is a National Health Service Corps Scholar, diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, and fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Roberts is steadfast in her pursuit to raise up the next generation of physicians. She currently volunteers for a Chicago non-profit organization where she mentors high school, premedical and medical students alike. When she is not caring for her patients locally, you will likely find Dr. Roberts caring for some of the world’s most medically underserved communities on medical mission trips. To date, she has served on missions in Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Africa, and Moldova.
In her free time, Dr. Roberts enjoys public speaking, medical media, traveling, figure skating, and spending time with family and her dog.
