Dr. Saeed A. Chowdhry has a busy clinical practice in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and also serves as Assistant Professor of Surgery (specializing in plastic surgery) at Chicago Medical School.
He was educated at Rush University College of Medicine and subsequently completed his General Surgery training at the University of Illinois at Mt. Sinai and Plastic Surgery fellowship training at the University of Louisville.
He is Dual Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
While in training and in practice he has won several research and teaching awards. He has authored peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters that have been reviewed and cited over a thousand times in the surgical literature.
In addition to publishing papers, book chapters, and presenting research at national scientific meetings, Dr. Chowdhry has also served as a reviewer for several journals as well as the Cochrane Review and has been recognized for his expertise in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
As a lifelong Chicagoan, Dr. Chowdhry is a Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks fan, and never puts ketchup on his hot dogs.
